Visual + Production Designer

 

Loblaw Digital owns and operates the digital experiences across Loblaw Companies Ltd., including all e-comm grocery banners, Beautyboutique by Shopper Drug Mart, and PC Optimum.

Responsible for visual + production design, developing paid social media assets, landing pages, e-comm stories, email, and other e-comm creative for on-site, in-app, and google display banners.

 

Design process

 

Development

Working cross-functionally with other designers, marketing and merchandising teams, production specialists, and copy teams to develop promotional e-commerce materials. Developed original creative concepts, and adapted business stakeholder materials from brand teams at Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaw, PC Optimum, and other partners—all used to execute responsive mobile experiences.

Execution

All business assets built to be site-ready; to spec, following A11y web accessibility standards and user experience best-practices. Exported for web and optimized for site performance. Adapting any campaign materials (photography, typography, lockups, colours, etc.) originally designed by retail partners to work across multiple platforms while maintaining integrity.
